“We now have severe considerations concerning experiences that cryptocurrency amenities throughout the nation are polluting communities and are having an outsized contribution to greenhouse fuel emissions,” in accordance to the letter, signed by lawmakers together with Brad Sherman and Jamaal Bowman of California; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York; and Jesús G. “Chuy” García and Marie Newman of Illinois. “Individuals residing close to crypto mining amenities are already struggling the results of air, water and noise air pollution from these amenities.”
